Knicks Expect Jason Kidd To Return

He's 40-years old, and didn't score for ten straight playoff games, but Jason Kidd is expected back by the New York Knicks for another go-round next season. Knicks general manager Glen Grunwald said Jason Kidd gave him no indication that he was going to retire - Kidd has two more seasons under contract, worth about $6.2 million for the duration.

“We had a great meeting with Jason,’’ Grunwald said. “He was a big part of our success and we look forward to having him back next year.’’

Dan Gilbert's son - and his lucky bow tie - have brought luck to the Cleveland Cavaliers franchise once again as they won the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft this season. This is the Cavs second time winning the draft lottery since LeBron James left in 2010. Cleveland had a 15.6% chance of winning the lottery but scored the top pick over Orlando, and Washington, which will pick 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Vinny Del Negro is out as Clippers coach according to a reports. Despite their one of their best regular season finishes in franchise history, the Clippers lost to the Memphis Grizzlies in the first-round and faced the prospect of losing free agen Chris Paul in the summer if a new coach was not installed.

MJ Changing Bobcats Name Back To Hornets

Michael Jordan is making the move to change the Bobcats name back to the Hornets now that New Orleans are officially the Pelicans. The Bobcats have scheduled a press conference on Tuesday in which Jordan will outline the timetable for the move.

It would take about 18-months for the name change to become official, meaning that the 2014-15 season is the earliest for Charlotte to be known as the Hornets.

Frank Vogel has cleared up comments he made that were misinterpreted by Miami's LeBron James.
