The Knicks had called Game 4 against the Pacers a "gut-check" game, they failed miserably in Indiana so back at the confines of Madison Square Garden, and facing elimination, they knew they had to match the grittiness of the 'hicks' from Indiana.

And match it they did.

New York came out strong from the opening tip, hustling for balls, and more importantly their anchor Tyson Chandler began playing some long-awaited defense on the Pacers' bigs. Chandler was rebounding, setting hard picks, and even blocking shots, like this one from Tyler Hansbrough.

Chandler finished with 2 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks.  "We're not going to go out without fighting," Chandler said.

Doc Rivers To Return As Boston Coach

The Brooklyn Nets can scratch Doc Rivers off their coaching list, and the Clippers can forget about any deal with Boston that would send Rivers to the West Coast, he's staying with his troops in Beantown according to Danny Ainge.

Contrary to what many in the basketball world believe, Vinny Del Negro may actually keep his job and continue to be the Clippers head coach next season. As speculation mounted that Del Negro would take the fall for the team's first-round loss to the Grizzlies, the coach has a backer with clout, owner Donald Sterling.

It is reported that there is a level of interest within the organization to bring back Del Negro, although Sterling does have the final decision.

The Philadelphia 76ers Nick Young, aka Swaggy P, is dealing with a sexual assault claim and lawsuit from a woman who claims he drugged her and had non-consensual sex with her in 2012 when he was with the Los Angeles Clippers.
