Shaquille O'Neal is making the transistion from the 'The Big Diesel' to the 'The Big Analytical' after signing a multi-year deal with the Turner Sports Network to become an analyst on their NBA coverage. O'Neal, a natural fit between Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley, said he will bring even more of the funny to the show but will also be fair in his criticism.

Serge Ibaka Cleared To Play For Spanish Team

Serge Ibaka is going to Spain. Not to play for a club side though, the Oklahoma City big man has been granted Spanish nationality and will represent Spain at the upcoming European Championships, making the defending champs that much stronger. Ibaka, who hails from the Republic of Congo, was granted the nationality after Spain's council of ministers approved the application on Wednesday.

Sasha Vujacic May Be Headed To Europe

Sasha Vujacic may be taking his "talents" to Turkey during the NBA lockout. The former Laker and current New Jersey Nets guard, who is out of contract in the NBA, could possibly sign a deal that would see him play a full season with Team Anadolu Efes in Istanbul.

Dwyane Wade Talks About Heat's Finals Collapse

Dwyane Wade says the Miami Finals collapse still stings and that he still hasn't watched any basketball on ESPN since then. Speaking to a group of children at his summer camp the Miami guard cracked a little when asked by a counsellor to give the children advice about playing the game.

Dwight Howard Considering Playing In Spain?

Dwight Howard has apparently told a Spanish contingent of media that playing in the Spanish League could be an option if the NBA lockout persists well into the North American schedule. Charlotte Bobcats Begin Laying Off Staff

The Charlotte Bobcats have begun laying off some staff in the wake of cost cutting moves by frugal owner Michael Jordan. Play-by-play man Scott Lauer was let go this week. The team's director of corporate communications, the manager of community relations and at least four others have been laid off in the past week.

Just days after denying he would look to play overseas during an extended NBA lockout, Amar'e Stoudemire told ESPN Radio that it is now an option.

Pistons Will Bynum May Return To Israel
