Boston is in the process of signing Terrence Williams to a 10-day deal after the point guard became available earlier this week. The team is struggling with injuries at the guard position, both Rajon Rondo and Leandro Barbosa are done for the season, and Williams (who previously played with Sacramento and Houston in the NBA) could help fill the void.

From Boston.com:

The Celtics are close to signing former Nets swingman Terrence Williams to a 10-day contract, according to an NBA source.

The deal is nearly done, according to the source, with Williams awaiting clearance from his former team before joining the Celtics in Denver for Tuesday's game.

The former lottery pick, drafted 11th overall by the New Jersey Nets in 2009, was playing for the Guangdong Southern Tigers in China before leaving the team abruptly last week. He had also played for the Sacramento Kings and Houston Rockets.
