Michael Jeffrey Jordan, born February 17th in Brooklyn, New York. What's there left to be said about the man widely considered to be the greatest of all-time? There isn't anything really. Such is the power and influence of Jordan that his retro sneakers still sell out in minutes upon their release as a whole new generation - and older ones too - clamor for their piece of His Airness. Jordan is the measuring stick as to the definition of a 'global icon', his impact and legacy on the game of basketball will never be surpassed.
