The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers can talk all they want about a potential deal that would send Kevin Garnett to the west coast, just don't expect the player himself to sign off on it. Garnett is one of only four players in the league with the clause in their contract and he needs to approve any deal struck by the franchise, he told media today he has no plans to, and that Danny Ainge had not talked to him about any trade scenario anyway.

He says he'll be "buried in green."

From ESPN.com:

Talking to reporters before All-Star practice in Houston, Garnett said, "If it's up to me, I'm going to live and die green."

Informed that power is fully in his court given the fact that he secured one of only four no-trade clauses in the league when he inked a three-year, $36 million extension this offseason, Garnett playfully asked reporters why the conversation was still on the subject then.
