It's just getting worse for the Celtics injury wise. Just days after start point guard Rajon Rondo was ruled out for the remainder of the 2012-13 season comes news that rookie Jared Sullinger is also done for the year with a back injury that will require surgery.

Sullinger, who slipped in the draft and fell to the Celtics with the 21st pick amid concerns over his back, started feeling pain in his back over the past fortnight but he played through it until he eventually missed a team practice because the pain was so severe.

He has already undergone surgery and the team will release further notice of his rehabilitation process soon.
