|DeMar DeRozan Hits The Game-Winner v Magic (VIDEO)|
DeMar DeRozan scored 14-points for the Raptors in the fourth quarter or yesterday's game against the Magic at Amway Arena, none were more clutch than the final two as time expired. DeRozan hit the Raptors first buzzer-beating winner since T.J. Ford in 2006, giving Toronto a 97-95 win over Orlando.
DeRozan was quiet leading up to the fourth - he scored just 8 points in the first three terms - but quickly stamped his authority on the game. Afterwards he said he couldn't remember his last game winner, but he was glad his team had faith in him to make a play.
"They just put the ball in my hands and it was up to me to make something happen,” DeRozan said in an elated locker room.
“Just tried to be there for my team, try to be aggressive and not settle so much. Try to play within the flow of the game and that’s what I did. I’ve been struggling last couple of games, I just tried to come out tonight and play better.”
