It was a career night for Kevin Durant against the Dallas Mavericks last night, the Oklahoma City forward has been locked in throughout the 2012-13 season so far and last night was no different. Durant scored a career-high 52-points (beating his previous best of 51) and hit the game-winner in overtime with 16.5 seconds remaining to give the Thunder the W against the Mavericks.

Durant finished the game 13/31 from the field, but was perfect from the line (21/21). Afterwards he said that he felt he had to lead by example to his teammates.

"Experience has helped me a lot," said Durant, whose previous career high was 51 against Denver last February. "If I look like I'm out there panicking, my teammates will look at me and feel the same way. I've got to be cool. If I miss a shot, so be it. I'm sure opportunity will come back around sooner or later."
