| Brooklyn Nets Execute Perfect Fastbreak (VIDEO) | ||||

The Brooklyn Nets season-high seven game winning streak - part of the 9-1 record they've posted since P.J. Carlisemo took over as head coach from Avery Johnson - isn't as much about the opponents they've faced, but the style of basketball that they've played. The isolation plays that former coach Johnson liked to run have been nixed in favor of more pick-and-rolls, and a complete team effort on both ends of the floor. Carlisemo has emphasized that defense will lead to offense - and easy baskets - if the team remains committed on both ends. During last night's game against the Toronto Raptors, the Nets ran a picture-perfect example of the vision that Carlisemo has. A Mirza Teletovic block led to a fastbreak involving multiple-give-and-gos and a beautiful behind-the-back pass from Deron Williams to an open Andray Blatche for the slam. Textbook stuff.
