|Marcus Camby Injures Left Foot v Pacers|
The, already short-handed, Knicks have another injury concern in their big man department with Marcus Camby re-injuring his left foot during last night's loss to the Indiana Pacers. With Rasheed Wallace also having missed the past 13-games, the Knicks may be taking an even closer look at former Nugget Kenyon Martin who is still waiting for an NBA call-up. The Knicks have made no formal announcement on Camby, preferring to wait until team doctors take a look at him today.
MSG Network reported it was being diagnosed as a "sore left foot." Camby will be evaluated Friday in New York, where the Knicks face the Chicago Bulls.
The injury occurred early in the third quarter to the same foot in which Camby recently had plantar fasciitis, forcing him to miss 12 straight games for most of December.
Before he hobbled off the court, Camby had been playing well. He scored seven points in the first seven minutes of the game. In addition, he grabbed five rebounds and had a block in only 20 minutes.
