When a game goes to double-overtime, as it did last night against the Washington Wizards, the Brooklyn Nets know they can count on Joe Johnson to step up and hit the big shots. For the second time this season, the Nets found themselves in a drawn-out encounter against a lower ranked team from their conference, and just like the game against Detroit, Joe Johnson hit the game-winning shot to defeat the Washington Wizards, 115-113.

Johnson drained an 18-foot jumper with just 0.7 seconds remaining to silence the Verizon Center crowd. After the game he said he knew a Washington double-team was coming so he shot the ball.

"In that situation, man, I'd seen the double team coming and I just took one hard dribble and pulled up for a jumper," Johnson said.
