Allen Iverson is still holding out the slightest of hopes that an NBA team will call for his services this season, but even he realizes that may not be the case and A.I. says he will look to ply his trade in China if the NBA opportunity doesn't eventuate. Iverson, who has not played in the league since his second stint with Philadelphia in 2009-10, was recently in China as part of a US Legends tour and squared off against former NBA rival, Stephon Marbury.

Iverson reportedly told a Chinese publication that China was still an option, as long as he felt needed there.

Iverson replied: "I definitely want to return to the NBA, but if I can't get back there, I'm hoping to play ball here (China)."

With regards to his team of choice, Iverson chose to reply obliquely, saying: "I'm not leaning towards any one team, and there's no 'first choice' like what the others say." However, Iverson points to the CBA as one of his backup options. "China is still one of my choices, but the team that wants me to join has got to show me that they really mean it, like 'hey we really need you'."
