NBA championship winner Eddy Curry - it still sounds strange, right? - might be heading back to for another chance in New York, this time across the bridge and in Brooklyn. The Nets are working out Curry (he was on Miami's roster last season but appeared in just 14-games) with an eye to adding him as a back-up for center Brook Lopez, the Nets are also looking at former Hornet Hilton Armstrong as well.

Armstrong's agent said his client was keen to make an impression.

"This is an excellent opportunity for Hilton," his agent, Sam Goldfeder, said. "He's 100 percent ready for his chance to make the Nets."

Curry is an intriguing option though, given his prior history with the Knicks, but Brooklyn are running out of options looking for a reserve to fill the squad out (they can only offer the veterans minimum to either player).
