Deron Williams will ball so hard as a Brooklyn Net next season, and beyond. The free agent point guard just tweeted a little earlier that he "Made a very tough decision today..." and posted a picture of the new franchise logo along with it. The signing, believed to be in the 5-year, $100 million range, puts an end to the speculation surrounding the face of the Nets franchise.

It comes hot on the heels of a frenzied two days for Brooklyn in which they traded for Atlanta's Joe Johnson, Reggie Evans (sign-and-trade), along with the re-signing of Gerald Wallace for 4-years, and $40 million. Mikhail Prokhorov and his crew are intent on fielding a competitive side once the new arena is opened in October and have left no stone unturned in assembling their team.

Talks are still in play regarding the Nets trading for the Magic's unhappy camper Dwight Howard, a move that would place the franchise well into luxury tax territory, but Prokhorov and his deep pockets may be willing to take the hit.
