| Boston Celtics Agree To Deal With Jason Terry | ||||

The Boston Celtics have agreed to a three-year deal with former Sixth Man of the Year, Jason Terry. The Mavericks back-up last season will sign with Boston on the mid-level exception for around $5 million per year. The deal is worth $15 million over the course of the contract. Terry has spent the past eight seasons with the Mavericks - and helped them win a championship last season. Despite the signing, Boston are still determined to keep Ray Allen who has been courted by teams such as Miami and the Los Angeles Clippers. Terry averaged 15.1 points and 3.6 assists last season and shot 37.8 percent from the 3-point range.
