Toronto is hoping that the more cash they throw at Steve Nash, it will be enough to convince the Canadian to return home for his final years in the NBA. Nash, a free agent as of last weekend, is listening to offers from teams including the Raptors, New York and Brooklyn Nets, although a return to the Suns hasn't been fully ruled out it, is becoming more apparent that Nash will leave Arizona.

Nash has a meeting with the Knicks early today but New York will not be able to offer anything near the three-year, $36 million the Raptors are prepared to pay him for his services, the best offer the Knicks could probably come up with is their $3.09 million midlevel exception to attempt to lure Nash, unless the Suns agree to a sign-and-trade.

Nash earned nearly $12 million last season and averaged 12.5 points and 10.7 assists for the Suns.
