The Boston Celtics have put together a video montage thanking their loyal fanbase for their support over the past season. As the chapter on the Big Three era draws to a close, the realisation that this squad has played its last games together is a near reality, the C's released the video earlier today via YouTube as a way of showing gratitude. A message from the franchise accompanied the video as well :

"From all of us at the Boston Celtics, thank you to the best fans in all of professional sports for an amazing 2011-12 season."

The video also features the chant that sent chills up the spine at the end of Boston's Game 6 loss to Miami at the TD Bankworth Garden. Despite being blown out the crowd stood and chanted, "Let's go Celtics" for the games final minutes. That moment was not lost on Boston's emotional leader Kevin Garnett who acknowledged the crowd after the game.

"I want to say to all the fans, thank you, guys," Garnett said. "I've never in my life experienced anything like this, in any sport. I'm just truly blessed to be a Celtic and be a part of the city of Boston. That's what's up to all the New Englanders around here coming from your boy."
