Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra says he may elevate Chris Bosh to a starting position for the Heat's elimination Game 6 on Thursday night. Bosh returned from a strained abdominal suffered in Game 1 of the Indiana series yesterday but Spoelstra played the power forward litlle, especially in the second half, as he monitored his minutes throughout the game. The coach added that he doesn't know for sure, and even if Bosh continues to come off the bench he will most certainly have a larger role to play.

"I'm still going through that thought process," Spoelstra said after the Heat wrapped up practice in Miami before traveling to Boston. "But I think he'll be able to handle a bigger load of minutes, and it'll be based more on how he'll feel during the game."

Spoelstra was criticised heavily for his decision to hold Bosh out for key stretches of the game, considering Kevin Garnett was running rampant in the paint, but said he stood by his move.

"Those are the decisions you have to make," Spoelstra said. "And I know after the fact, those can always be second-guessed. But we're treading in kind of new waters right now, and (Bosh) had been out quite a while. But he'll play more tomorrow night."
