The sneaky thing about Paul Pierce game is that even if he's having a sub-par shooting night, the veteran Celtics captain still has the confidence - and ability - to attempt and make critical shots in the clutch. So, with Boston up one with 57 seconds remaining in the game, Pierce found himself being guarded by LeBron James out near the three-point line. It didn't matter that Pierce had shot just 2/10 in the first half, his shot selection and success rate had improved in the second half, so 'P Squared' hoisted a long-distance shot with James right in his grill.

The result? Nothing but net and Boston knew they had just stolen a vital away win. After the game 'The Truth' explained the situation.

“Things are going so fast you kind of play on instincts,’’ Pierce said. “I saw him back up, he gave me a step. I knew it was within my range. The shot clock was winding down - just took a shot. That’s just being in those moments so many times and understanding what your team needs, and being able to concentrate and get the best shot for us.

And that's the double truth.
