The Miami Heat are set to welcome a familiar face back to the court when they arrive home for the crucial Game 5 meeting with the Celtics on Tuesday night. Chris Bosh, who has been absent from the team since straining an abdominal muscle in Game 1 of the Pacers series, is set to be activated by the Heat assuming he doesn't suffer any setbacks in his recovery before then. The return of the power forward will be a welcome addition for the Heat who have struggled to contain the Celtics Kevin Garnett.

Bosh did travel with his teammates to Boston for the two games at TD bankworth Garden but according to team officials he was never going to play in either game. He had been doing on-court workouts for the past week trying to get himself ready and even got on the floor with teammates during practices while the Heat were in Boston.

Players who return from abdominal strains usually take awhile to return to full strength and the Heat may place Bosh on restricted minutes until he can get his conditioning back.
