They didn't achieve their ultimate goal, nor did they win as many playoff games as their crosstown rivals the Lakers, but the Los Angeles Clippers will look back on Year One of the Chris Paul/Blake Griffin era with some fondness. Paul - always the competitor - acknowledged that the franchise had "a good season" but vowed that they would not be resting on their laurels, they will continue to work towards a Championship.
"We had a good season," Paul said. "I think it's a good sign for our team, but there are no moral victories. It's not like, 'Oh, we made it to the playoffs and it's all good and well.' We feel like we should still be playing. The 2011-2012 NBA season was the first the Clippers were in the playoffs since 2005-2006, when they also made the secound-round.
