 The latest rookie to sign with the Swoosh is the Washington Wizards exciting guard, Bradley Beal. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed - and the contract has not been signed yet - but it is believed to be a multi-year deal for Beal.
From The Washington Post :
“We’re excited about it,” the players agent, Mark Bartelstein said.
The third overall pick last June, Beal has worn Nike throughout his high school, AAU and college career, but Under Armour made a push for his services as well. Beal wore a pair of the shoes during a practice a few weeks ago, but has been in Nike for games and practices ever since.

 Jay Z once rapped that there "ain't no stoppin' the champagne from poppin," and with close friend LeBron James winning his first NBA title last summer, the evil geniuses at Nike Sportswear have decided to commemorate the occasion with a special - limited edition - 'Cork' version of the LeBron X sneaker.

 The colorways continue to roll out of the LeBron X series - and the theme of the diamond collection also continues - with the latest images of an upcoming release emerging on the internet.
The 'Canary' (named for the canary diamond) features a cool grey upper, meshed with highlights of yellow (signifying the color of the canary diamond), along with a small image of a canary resting on a yellow diamond near the heel of the shoe where LeBron's number 6 would normally be.

 One established superstar leaves Jordan Brand, an emerging superstar joins the stable and replaces him. Russell Westbrook was today officially announced as the latest athlete to join the iconic brand, the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard moved over from Nike. He had been heavily courted by the two brands, along with rival, adidas Basketball. In the end he decided to join forces with Michael Jordan's brand.
