Early on in my basketball career -Pre Air Jordan's- I used to love lacing up a pair of boots with the Nike Flight logo visible on the tongue for all to see.It gave me the feeling of being an official basketball player. OJ Mayo must get that feeling everytime he laces up a pair of his Player Edition Flight Light's. Mayo came out of the University of Southern California with high expectations and since debuting for the Memphis Grizzlies via a draft day trade he has not disappointed. A career scoring average of almost 18 points per in just over two seasons means OJ can light it up from anywhere on the court.
Wearing these player edition just adds a bit of street style to his already nice game. This is the home version of the... |

Brandon Jennings is the face of the Under Armour brand's foray into the basketball market. Surprising considering the first thing that comes to mind when thinking Under Armour is big dudes taking big hits playing contact sport. Jennings may not physically fit that description but his game is all about delivering big hits when making plays for the Milwaukee Bucks. His first signature shoe gets a release on these shores on December 9th and believe us, the shoe is nice!

We're not sure if this colorway will be released and sold to the general public but notable hip hop prodeucer DJ Clark Kent revealed his collection of LeBron VIII kicks on Twitter the other day. Among the throng of shoes was a grey/white and lime colorway that has not been seen before.
Speculation is rife that the shoe is an exclusive colorway just for the DJ or perhaps has been designed by the producer as he has done for previous Air Force One edition sneakers. Either way we are... |

Jordan Brand have released some teaser pics of the Jordan V Bin 23 sneaker which is to be released shortly. For those aren't aware of the Bin 23 range, it is experimental designs on old classics which Nike say is only for the "true connoisseur" of collecting. Very limited premium releases make this range a must have for any collector hoping to reach that connoisseur status.
Previously the Jordan II has been given a 'chocoloate' makeover inspired by a 19th century boot... |

A 6'10 power forward who's preference is to shoot three pointers, Rashard Lewis went against the stereotype of his position early on in his career. When you've taken 4,093 shots from three point range and made 1,601 at a .391% clip for your career there must be a secret to your nimble footwork. He uses his quickness of foot to blow past defenders when putting the ball on the floor or when stopping on a dime to hit a crucial transition three pointer, Lewis can do it all on the... |

When King James hits the court today against the Boston Celtics on his feet will be the latest colorway of his sneaker, the LeBron VIII. On Veterans Day in the United States James will wear a white/red and blue version of the shoe as a mark of respect for the veterans who fought for the United States. One can't help but wonder if this colorway was originally designed for James as a USAB version to be worn at the World Championships in which he ultimately didn't participate in?
