The internets blew up late yesterday afternoon as Nike Basketball released the trailer for the upcoming 'Black Mamba' feature. Directed by cult hero Robert Rodriguez who has overseen such films as Sin City, Grindhouse and more recently, Machete and even the less ardent fans of Rodriguez could see the influence of his prior movies on this commercial. Fueled by the recent success of the LeBron James commercials, Nike have not forgotten the 5 time World Champ and two time Finals MVP, sparing no expense for the Kobe VI marketing campaign even Bruce Willis and perennialy typecast actor Danny Trejo appear.
Anyone who is a fan of the blend of genres that Rodriguez is a master of fusing together in his films, will surely appreciate... |

The commercial for the release of the LeBron VIII posed the question, "What Should I Do?". Now with the release of the V/2 version of LeBron's signature series Nike have moved forward into creative mode and have not even used James likeness for the new ad. The shoe is a full ounce lighter than it's predecessor and as LeBron himself says, the use of the Lion's head logo on the tongue is the inspiration to " drive towards a winning season.”

Earlier this week the Suns point guard ended a 15 year relationship with the sporting giant to sign with little know Chinese brand, Luyou. This Nike sneaker is basically a low cut version of the standard Hyperfuse, Nash has been wearing low cut sneakers for quite some time now.

Initially thought to be the 'Entourage' edition that DJ Clark Kent premiered a couple of weeks ago, it has now been revealed as this lovely dark blue makeup you see here.
