He may have spent the majority of his life in Baltimore, but Carmelo Anthony is Brooklyn, New York City to the core. The Knicks superstar's latest Jordan commercial dropped earlier today, entitled: 'The City That Made Me.' Look past the 29 points, and the 6.1 rebounds Melo is averaging this year - a season in which he seems to have fully grasped what his talent is capable of - and hark back to the kid from Red Hook projects in Brooklyn, that had dreams of becoming an NBA superstar. Anthony looks back on his path that led him to Madison Square Garden. The latest drop coincides with the release of the ninth edition of Melo's signature sneaker, the M9, which hits retailers on January 9th. Carmelo Anthony has finally grown up.
