The absence of a stictched 23 on the shoe is noticable from the outset but aside from that next year's release of the Air Jordan V 'Fire Red' retro will be as close to the original as possible. Those still holding out hope for a return of 'Nike Air' on the back need to stop dreaming right now though, it's never coming back guys. Jordan Brand are releasing this loved shoe in 2013 (no release date confirmed as yet), which marks the 23rd anniversary of it's initial drop. This hasn't been seen since the Countdown Package so it will most definitely be an instant sell-out. More info as it comes to hand, but for now check these images out and tell us your thoughts.
