 If you've been following the NBA for a while you'll know that Chicago Bulls point guard Nate Robinson likes his kicks, in fact, dude has one of the illest collections going around. If you don't believe us then just YouTube some of his videos, you'll see what we mean. So, when the Bulls visited Barclays Center last night to face the Nets we decided to catch up with Nate and have a chat to him about his kicks, why NBA players seem to be switching shoes at half-time more often, and also grabbed his thoughts on whether teammate Jimmy Butler would make a good addition to the All-Star game dunk contest.
Right after that we caught Taj Gibson - a Brooklyn native - on his way back to the Chicago locker room and got his thoughts... |

 It was an unseasonably warmer-than-usual winter's day yesterday in New York City. Perhaps the Miami team had brought the 'Heat' literally from down south, or maybe it was the hot air that Reggie Evans had been blowing thoughout the day - doing his best to antagonise Miami's LeBron James.
The Heat rolled into New York for the second time this season - but first trip to Brooklyn, and the Barclays Center - hoping for a better result than the drubbing they suffered at Madison... |

 The Brooklyn Nets came into Madison Square Garden and exacted some revenge for their poor showing in their previous encounter at the home of the Knicks. The season series ended at two-games a piece - with the exception of the third game, all games were close and came down to the final possessions - but the intensity of this budding rivalry has left fans wanting more of the match-up.
Unfortunately, unless these teams meet up in the playoffs there will be no more regular season games in... |

 Right before last night's game at Madison Square Garden - and way before the madness of the Carmelo Anthony v Kevin Garnett incident - we managed to catch up with Knicks rookie Chris Copeland in the Knicks locker room for a quick chat.
Copeland is averaging 6.4 points per game this season in limited minutes but the 28-year old is happy playing his role for the 23-11 Atlantic Division leading Knicks team. Watch the video below and stay tuned to Starting5online.com for a full... |

 The NBA can be a tough league for foreign-born players at times, guys who may have been stars in their native countries are often faced with the confronting truth that on an NBA roster there is another 14 players that are just as good as them, fighting for roster spots. Many internationals have tried their luck, and eventually - for numerous reasons - they return back to their countries or continue playing their trade abroad.
